Jordan, Iraq agree measures to facilitate truck movement

AMMAN – Jordan and Iraq on Tuesday agreed to facilitate the movement of trucks across their joint border, according to Agriculture Minister Akef Zu’bi.
In a statement, the minister said the two sides agreed in a meeting to increase the number of cadres working on border crossings and open two lanes on the Iraqi side to expedite the entry of Jordanian trucks.
