Jordan to participate in conference of countries hosting Palestinians

AMMAN — Jordan is scheduled to participate in the 89th Conference of Supervisors of Palestinian Affairs in Arab Host Countries in Cairo.
Held at the headquarters of the secretariat general of the Arab League, the five-day conference will include participants from Palestine, Lebanon, Egypt, the Arab League Educational, Cultural and Scientific Organisation, the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation and the Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation.
The conference will focus on conditions of Palestinian refugees in host countries, mainly in Syria, the financial crisis facing UNRWA and the Israeli attempts to Judaise Jerusalem.
Department of Palestinian Affairs Director General Mahmoud Aqrabawi is scheduled to participate in the meetings of the Council on Education Affairs for Palestinian People, which will open Sunday at the Arab League Headquarters in Cairo.
Jordan will take part in the 90th session of Conference of Supervisors of Palestinian Affairs in Arab Host Countries, slated to open on Sunday in Cairo.
The 5th extraordinary session of the general conference for the Arab League Educational, Cultural and Scientific Organisation (ALECSO) opened in Amman in Tuesday with the participation of Arab education ministers and their accompanying delegations.
