Jordan tourism sector hits summer high

AMMAN — The number of visitors to the Kingdom increased by 4.4 per cent in June, standing at 530,194 compared with 507,732 in the same period last year, Tourism Minister Nidal Katamine said on Sunday.
Figures show that the number of overnight tourists also increased last month, reaching 387,175, compared with 369,768 in June last year.
