‘Jordan witnessing growth in tourism’

AMMAN — The promotional campaign launched recently in some Gulf countries appears to have been effective so far, as the Kingdom has been witnessing growth in tourist movement this summer, Tourism Minister Nayef Al Fayez said on Thursday.
He made the remark at a meeting with Jordan Tour Guides Association President Khalid Ayasrah. Discussions covered the drop in tourist numbers as a result of regional instability.
