AMMAN — Jordanians residing in California are safe and no one was injured in the fires that erupted in the northern and southern areas of the US state, the Jordanian Embassy in Washington announced on Saturday.
Embassy employees contacted the honorary consul in San Francisco, the president of the Jordanian-US Association in San Francisco and the head of the Jordan Club in Los Angeles, who all said that the Jordanians there were safe, according to a Foreign Ministry statement.
The embassy also published a warning for Jordanians on social media outlets, which included contacting the embassy in case of any emergency or need for help.
