King Hussein Cancer Centre receives accreditation for tobacco treatment

AMMAN — The King Hussein Cancer Centre (KHCC) has received international accreditation for its treatment of tobacco addiction, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported on Tuesday.
The programme was approved by the Council for Tobacco Treatment Training Programmes, which is the accrediting body for Tobacco Treatment Specialist (TTS) training programmes.
Head of the KHCC Asem Mansour said that the KHCC programme is the “first of its kind” outside the US, which will provide the trainees who completed the requirements with a TTS certification.
