AMMAN — The Royal Court on Tuesday flew the Jordanian flag at its main entrance at half-mast from early morning until 6pm in tribute to the victims of terror attacks in Egypt on Monday, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

The government on Monday denounced the “cowardly” terror attack that targeted a police convoy in Sinai’s Arish city, which resulted in the death of 18 Egyptian policemen, including four officers, and several injuries.

Minister of State for Media Affairs Mohammad Momani voiced Jordan’s solidarity with Egypt in facing terrorism that targets its security and stability.

Momani, who is also the government spokesperson, renewed the Kingdom’s call for unifying international efforts to uproot terrorism. He also expressed the government’s condolences to Egypt and the victims’ families, wishing the injured a speedy recovery.
