Kisbi holds talks with Abbas, Palestinian counterpart

RAMALLAH — Minister of Public Works and Housing Yahya Kisbi, who is currently visiting Palestine, on Tuesday met with his Palestinian counterpart Maher Ghonaim and discussed means to boost cooperation in the housing sector.
According to Kisbi, the visit is intended to examine joint coordination and ways to boost cooperation. Jordan and the Palestinian Authority will sign several agreements on housing and construction cooperation as well as expertise exchange during the visit.
On Monday, Kisbi met with Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, who thanked Jordan for its support for the Palestinian people.
Minister of Public Works and Housing Sami Halaseh met with his Palestinian counterpart Maher Ghneim during his official visit to Palestine, which concluded on Friday.
Prime Minister Abdullah Ensour on Wednesday met with UN Human Settlements Programme (UN-HABITAT) Executive Director Joan Clos and an accompanying delegation.
Public Works and Housing Minister Yahya Kisbi on Wednesday discussed with Japanese Ambassador to Jordan Junichi Kosuge the possibility of attracting Japanese investors to implement housing projects for limited income people in Jordan.
