AMMAN — Labour Minister Nidal Katamine has urged field administrators and heads of inspection departments in the Kingdom to visit as many facilities and factories on Wednesday, a ministry statement said Monday.
He urged them to do so in order to participate in the activities of the collective stand to be organised by the inspection department at the ministry within the events of the 13th national week for occupational safety and health launched on Sunday.
This group activity will be held at all labour directorates in the Kingdom under the theme “Collective Stand for a Safe Environment” and will last from 10am to 12pm, Labour Ministry Spokesperson Mohammad Khatib said.
Meanwhile, the ministry on Tuesday is scheduled to launch the second phase of the national programme for training in the health sector, targeting 13 remote areas across the Kingdom with high unemployment rates, according to a ministry statement.
