AMMAN — The Lower House on Monday began deliberations on the draft 2019 profession licensing law of the Greater Amman Municipality (GAM).
The lawmakers, during the session, approved a number of amendments as referred by a joint “finance, economy and investment” parliamentary committee, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
The mandating reasons for the draft law aim to regulate professions within the regions of GAM, as well as to identify the necessary duties, responsibilities, powers and requirements to achieve integration between the municipality and the competent authorities, to attract investments through and operate electronic services among GAM, the competent authorities and service recipients.
