AMMAN — The Lower House on Tuesday endorsed the 2018 public administration draft law, which allows the Cabinet, in special and justified cases, to delegate some ministers’ authorities to secretary generals and heads of commissions or public departments.
It also allows ministers to delegate some of their authorities to senior officials in their ministries’ headquarters or affiliated departments in governorates and districts, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported. The bill aims to speed up procedures and limit bureaucracy at the government departments.
