Man jailed 17 years for fraud

AMMAN — The State Security Court’s (SSC) civilian panel on Wednesday sentenced a man who was facing charges related to a brokerage firm scam to 17.5 years of imprisonment and a JD3,500 fine, in addition to repaying the $4.423 million he gained unlawfully through scams, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
