Man killed in border infiltration attempt from Syria

AMMAN — A man who illegally crossed into Jordan from Syria was killed last week, a source from the General Command of the Jordan Armed Forces said on Thursday night.

The man, who crossed into Jordan last Wednesday, refused to surrender to a border guard unit, forcing its members to open fire in line with the rules of engagement.
