Minister urges help for orphans in Ramadan

AMMAN — Social Development Minister Khawla Armouti on Saturday visited Al Hussein Social Foundation and checked on the programmes offered to orphaned children, according to a ministry statement.

On the sidelines of her visit, Armouti said the foundation cares for children from day one until they reach 13 years old. She called for intensifying these efforts, especially in light of the fasting month of Ramadan.

The minister said her field visits will focus on institutions affiliated with the ministry to identify their needs and check on their services.
