Ministry, charities sign 11 agreements for production projects, credit funds

AMMAN — The Social Development Ministry has signed 11 agreements with charities which aim at establishing production projects and credit funds, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
According to the agreements, worth JD66,000, two credit funds and nine production projects will contribute to creating 30 job opportunities.
This agreement comes in light of the World Hunger Day and shows the ministry’s keenness to reduce poverty and unemployment and increase the living standards of local communities, according to Social Development Minister Basma Ishaqat, who highlighted the “real partnership” between voluntary and official sectors.
