Ministry prepares service guides to enhance public sector performance

AMMAN – The Ministry of Public Sector Development has finalised service guides for five government agencies and referred them to the Prime Ministry and concerned ministers, a ministry statement said Saturday.

The service guides are for the Justice Ministry and courts, the Environment Ministry, the Social Development Ministry, the Jordan Institution for Standards and Metrology and the Land Transport Regulatory Commission, according to the statement.

Minister of Public Sector Development Khleef Al Khawaldeh said the service guides are part of the ministry's 2014-2016 executive plan to enhance the performance of the public sector agencies.

Khawaldeh said the guides include information on the types of services, conditions to receive the service, documents needed, fees, and other government agencies that are partners in providing the service.

The minister noted that a total of 23 service guides have been prepared since the start of the project in 2013.
