Model UN conference at International Academy-Amman concludes

AMMAN — The International Academy-Amman hosted the 2nd annual Model United Nations conference recently. Over 200 delegates from schools throughout Amman attended the conference, which concluded on Saturday, according to a statement from Her Majesty Queen Rania’s office.
Keynote speakers included Senator Aqel Biltaji and Andrew Harper, the UN Refugee Agency’s representative to Jordan.
The conference focused on youths as a “springboard for the future”, the statement said.
The third annual Model United Nations conference concluded at the International Academy-Amman (IAA) on Saturday, after three days of discussions under the theme “Global Citizenship for a Sustainable Future”.
Her Majesty Queen Rania on Monday joined the Queen Rania Teacher Academy (QRTA) team to celebrate the 5th anniversary of the facility’s establishment.
Her Majesty Queen Rania on Sunday checked on different learning technologies applied by the Jordan Education Initiative (JEI) in a number of public schools in Jordan.
