Mulki presents awards to journalists at JPA ceremony

AMMAN — Deputising for His Majesty King Abdullah, Prime Minister Hani Mulki on Sunday presented awards for creativity in the media at a ceremony at the Jordan Press Association (JPA), the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
Mulki presented awards to winners in the categories of best report, best article, best news report and best photo. He also honoured journalists who have worked in the field for over 20 years.
Mulki was accompanied by Interior Minister Salameh Hammad and Minister of State for Media Affairs Mohammad Momani. JPA President Tareq Momani called on the government to support freedom of the press and media institutions as they carry the state's message and can influence public opinion.
