Muslim Brotherhood Society reviews ideology, group’s role in society

AMMAN — The Muslim Brotherhood Society, a breakaway group of the Muslim Brotherhood, concluded a two-day conference titled “Towards a national Islamic orthodoxy group” on Saturday, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
Head of the preparatory committee Fathi Taamnah said that the event showcased intellectual and organisational papers by scholars and national figures, followed by discussions on the group’s ideology, cooperation with the society’s official and civil institutions as well as its role in supporting moderation, media and community accountability.
