Nasser discusses water projects with Kuwait fund adviser

AMMAN — Water Minister Hazem Nasser and Kuwait Fund for Economic Development Engineering Adviser Mohammed Sadeqi on Saturday discussed several water projects.

Nasser highlighted the achievements of the water sector in dealing with the additional demand due to the large number of Syrian refugees in the country.

He thanked the fund for supporting water projects across the Kingdom.

Also on Saturday, the minister signed deals for several water projects financed by the Gulf Cooperation Council grant to the Kingdom.

The projects, to be carried out in Maan, Zarqa and Tafileh are expected to cost around JD1 million.
