By Petra - Aug 24,2015 - Last updated at Aug 24,2015

AMMAN — The National Centre for Human Rights (NCHR) recommended that the exceptions in admission to public universities be reduced, citing the need for equality and justice.

In its report on the right to education, the NCHR also called for curbing the rise in tuition fees at private schools, recommending that a monitoring system be prepared to ensure that education institutions abide by regulations.

The centre also called for amending the Education Law to enhance respect of human rights and freedoms.
