AMMAN — The Jordanian Coalition for People with Disabilities on Monday launched a guidebook for improving accessibility for people with disabilities in schools, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
The launch was part of a workshop on improving accessibility, organised by the coalition in cooperation with the NGO Handicap International.
Head of the coalition, Mustafa Rawashdeh, said the guidebook aims to clarify the standards that must be met in public schools to enable people with disabilities to receive a full education. He also highlighted the importance of shedding light on the rights of people with disabilities.
