AMMAN — The Education Ministry did not register any violations on the first day of the General Secondary Education Certificate Examination (Tawjihi) summer session, Minister Mohammad Thneibat said Monday.

Around 123,000 students sat for the English exam on Monday.

After visiting some examination halls in Amman, Thneibat said the exam was held with discipline across the Kingdom, attributing such commitment to the students' and families' awareness of its importance, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

A total of 127,800 students have registered for the Tawjihi summer session, which concludes on June 28.
