AMMAN — Campus France, the French national agency for the promotion of higher education, international student services and international mobility, will hold an open day on Sunday, from 3:00pm to 7:00pm, at the Institut Français in Amman.
The event will be open for students and their parents, as well as for teachers wishing to receive information on studies in France, according to a statement from the French embassy in Amman.
Institut Français and Al Rai Centre for Research are organising a workshop on “participatory democracy” on Wednesday and Thursday, according to a statement from the centre.
France's ties with Jordan have never been more important than at the present time, and the Institut Français plays a major role in nurturing cultural exchange between the two countries, the institute's president said Saturday.
Half a century after it first opened its doors to Jordanians in Amman’s Jabal Luweibdeh, Institut Français is looking forward to another 50 years of cultural exchange by appealing to knowledge, thought and emotion, according to its director.
