AMMAN — The Open Jordanian Youth Orchestra, conducted by Agnes Bashir-Dzodtseova, will hold a concert on Sunday at 7pm, at Al Hussein Cultural Centre in Ras Al Ain, according to a statement from the organisers.

The event is held by the Arab Alliance of Women in Music in cooperation with the National Music Conservatory.

Performing together will be some 29 young Jordanian musical talents between the ages of 10 and 21, in addition to three young soloists, all of whom have been practising as a group under the guidance of Bashir-Dzodtsoeva for more than two weeks on a daily basis.

The concert comes as a culmination of the 6th Annual Summer Music Workshop organised at the National Music Conservatory. The performance will include pieces by Mozart, Beethoven, Gershwin and others.
