Optional entry of trucks to Iraq to be arranged

AMMAN — Municipal Affairs and Transport Minister Walid Masri and Minister of Industry, Trade and Supply Yarub Qudah on Tuesday discussed arrangements concerning the entry of Jordanian trucks to Iraq with representatives of the chambers of industry and commerce and the Jordan truck owners and customs clearance offices association.
During the meeting, it was agreed that a plan is prepared and discussed with the concerned sides to organise the optional entry of Jordanian trucks to the Iraqi market, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
Land Transport Regulatory Commission Director General Salah Laozi said that allowing entry of Jordanian trucks into Iraq is the first step towards stimulating all other sectors.
