Palm Sunday, Easter holidays announced

AMMAN — April 24 will be a holiday for Christians in the Kingdom on the occasion of Palm Sunday, whereas May 1 and 2 will be the holiday marking Easter, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported Sunday.
Under a Cabinet decision taken on April 3, 2012, Palm Sunday and Easter were added to official holidays for Christians at ministries, government departments and public institutions. The holiday is also for Christians at schools and universities.
