AMMAN — Energy Minister Ibrahim Saif said the World Future Energy Summit, part of the 2017 Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week, constitutes an opportunity for participating countries to exchange expertise and review investment opportunities in renewable energy sectors.
Saif told the Jordan News Agency, Petra, on Monday, on the sidelines of the summit, that development laws in Jordan contributed to improving renewable energy projects, where solar and wind powers are expected to generate some 20 per cent of the Kingdom’s power needs.
