Peacekeepers in DR Congo organise free medical day

AMMAN — The Jordanian peacekeeping contingent in the Democratic Republic of the Congo on Wednesday held a free medical day in Kinshasa. The free medical services, which included clinics specialising in general, internal and emergency medicine and surgery, benefited more than 300 patients.
The Northern Military Zone, in cooperation with the Royal Medical Services, held a free medical day on Wednesday in Aramsheh area in the Northern Jordan Valley.
The Eastern Military Zone, in cooperation with the Royal Medical Services, held a free medical day on Tuesday in the Um Nuam area in Mafraq Governorate.
The Jordanian peacekeeping contingent Congo 9 arrived on Tuesday in the African country to join the international peacekeeping forces there.
