Pharmaceutical conference concludes, stresses importance of clinical studies

AMMAN — The second international conference organised by the Jordan Food and Drug Administration under the title “Pharmaceutical industries and clinical studies: towards growth and innovation” concluded on Sunday night, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
The conference, which attracted more than 400 participants from 29 countries and 37 speakers, stressed the importance of clinical studies in the pharmaceutical field.
The event also highlighted the need to list Jordan and the Middle East in clinical studies, so as to be supplied with effective and safe medicines, as well as discussing organisational and legal aspects for conducting such studies.
