AMMAN — Noise caused by cameramen, photojournalists, technicians and journalists prompted His Majesty King Abdullah on Sunday to shortly interrupt his Speech from the Throne at Parliament and ask for calm.
“If you please my brothers, allow me to speak,” the King said, then continued his speech.
A large number of media personnel were present to cover the opening of the second ordinary session of the 17th Parliament.
The session was also attended by hundreds of invited guests representing all walks of life in the Kingdom, in addition to Royal family members, senior officials, high-ranking officers from the army and security agencies, diplomats and media leaders.
