PM pays surprise visit to check up on market

AMMAN — Prime Minister Hani Mulki on Monday paid a surprise visit to Bayader Wadi Seer market to ensure it is serving consumers well, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
Mulki talked with shop owners and customers, and asked them about the quality of commodities and their prices.
The premier urged the shop owners to display the prices, noting that they will be held accountable if the prices do not match those displayed.
Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs and Minister of Industry, Trade and Supply Jawad Anani accompanied Mulki on the visit.
