AMMAN — Prime Minister Hani Mulki on Sunday visited the Jordan Food and Drug Administration (JFDA) and the Jordan Standards and Metrology Organisation (JSMO), during which he said the public health and the quality of food and drugs is a top priority for the government.

Mulki said the JFDA and the JISM have earned the trust of Jordanians due to their efforts in protecting the quality of commodities and drugs in the Kingdom.

CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR NEW PRIME MINISTER FOR MAKING PUB;IC HEALTH ONE OF HIS PRORITIES. THIS IS THE FIRST TIME IN HISTORY OF MY 35 YEARS MARRIAGE TO A JORDANIAN WOMAN. SINE OUR NEW LEADER HAS FIRED THIS SHOT FIRST, MAY I ALSO PUBLIC HEALTH MEANS MORE THAN DRUGS AND FOOD BUT ALSO POLUTION, ADDICTION TO TOBACCO, ADDICTION TO SEDENTARY LIFE BY WASTING MUCH NEEDED HARD CURRENCY ON MAIDS THAT HAS BECOME A NEW FAD IN THE JORDANIAN LIFE. IF I MAY ADD, JORDAN IS BLESSED WITH FRESH VEGITABLES, FRUITS ALL LOCALLY GROWN SO WHY IMPORT JUNCK FOOD. THANKS TO OUR PM.
