Police arrest runaway driver in Friday’s Irbid hit-and-run accident

AMMAN — The Irbid police department on Saturday arrested a man who was involved in a hit-and-run incident on Friday, killing a four-year-old child, according to a statement carried by the Jordan News Agency, Petra.
Public Security Department Spokesperson Lt. Col. Amer Sartawi said that within 24 hours of the incident, law enforcement located the vehicle involved in the incident and arrested the driver, a local from Irbid.
