Police investigating arson attack on Madaba school

MADABA — A group of unidentified individuals on Friday burnt the administration building of the Madaba Industrial School, which is a General Secondary Education Certificate Examination (Tawjihi) hall.
Madaba Civil Defence Department personnel extinguished the fire before it spread to other rooms.
Madaba Education Director Mohammad Thawaibeh said the fire did not reach the exam hall because the administration building is separate from the main building.
He added that the directorate has alternatives in case such incidents happen.
The police are investigating the accident.
