Prince Hassan calls for reviewing university curricula

AMMAN — HRH Prince Hassan on Monday called for establishing universities for scientific research, citing their pivotal role in the development process and economic growth.
Delivering a speech at the opening session of the fifth Conference for Humanities, the prince stressed the importance of investing in education and improving university curricula, adding that the gap between education outputs and market needs require field studies from academic institutions, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
Prince Hassan, president of the Arab Thought Forum, also called for reforming higher education and upgrading the relevant laws to cope with the rapid transformations in the world.
