Programme to help match skills of Syrian refugees with employers

AMMAN — UK NARIC announced a new programme on Tuesday to support Syrian refugees and improve their living conditions in Jordan.
UK NARIC said in a press statement, carried by the Jordan News Agency, Petra, on Tuesday that the new programme, dubbed “Syrians in Jordan”, is completely free and aimed at raising awareness among recruitment agencies, and educational institutions of the refugees’ capabilities through identifying their skills and qualifications.
Applicants can apply for the programme in English or Arabic, and provide brief details of their qualifications and skills.
The information provided on application forms will help in facilitating formal or informal work, or completion of their studies. Individuals who want to learn more about the programme or wish to use the service can visit the web page at www.naric.org.uk/SIJ.
