Project to preserve oral heritage in Petra concludes

AMMAN – HRH Princess Basma on Tuesday attended the ceremony marking the conclusion of a project to collect and preserve the oral heritage of Petra District.
The ceremony was held at the archaeology and tourism faculty of Al Hussein Bin Talal University, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
The project, implemented by Princess Basma Centre of Intangible Cultural Heritage, aims at conserving heritage in Jordan and enhancing cultural diversity, which helps preserving cultural privacy of local communities.
