PSD, Social Development Ministry cooperation ‘example to be followed’

AMMAN — The Family Protection Department on Tuesday hosted a meeting to evaluate the partnership between the Public Security Department (PSD) and the Social Development Ministry in presenting comprehensive security services aimed at ensuring families’ safety.

During the meeting, which marked 20 years of cooperation between the two institutions, Social Development Minister Hala Lattouf said that this collaboration is an “example” to be followed by state institutions, noting that PSD and ministry employees have been working hand in hand to preserve the unity of families in Jordan, according to a PSD statement.

PSD Director Maj. Gen. Fadel Hmoud said that, despite all that has been achieved, there is always more room for developing joint action protocols to catch up with changes in society.
