PSD ‘will play key role’ in securing elections — IEC

AMMAN — Independent Election Commission (IEC) Chief Commissioner Khaled Kalaldeh on Monday said the Public Security Department (PSD) will play a key role in protecting the electoral process.
Delivering a lecture at the Royal Police Academy, Kalaldeh said the PSD is a trusted authority to all involved in the elections, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported. PSD Deputy Director Brig. Gen. Dawood Hakouz said the department has finalised its security plan for the election.
