AMMAN — Deputising for Prime Minister Hani Mulki, Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs and Minister of Industry, Trade and Supply Jawad Anani on Monday chaired a meeting for the partnership council between  public and private sectors.

The council approved some projects presented by ministries and public institutions, including the Greater Amman Municipality’s new slaughterhouse, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

The council also approved a project to collect and recycle used acid lead batteries, as requested by the Environment Ministry, and endorsed the fibre optics grid project.
