Red Crescent society briefs visiting delegation on refugee crisis

AMMAN – Jordan National Red Crescent Society Chairman Mohammad Hadid on Tuesday met with a delegation of representatives of the British Red Cross and Jersey Overseas Aid Commission, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
The delegation was briefed on the projects run by the society to help Syrian refugees. Hadid said the volume of international aid that Jordan receives does not meet the requirements needed to fulfil Syrian refugees’ basic needs and Jordan has been greatly affected by this crisis.
The delegation commended Jordan’s commitment to hosting refugees.
