Rescuers stop ammonia leak

AMMAN — East Amman Civil Defence Department rescue teams on Friday dealt with and stopped an ammonia gas leak that happened at a refrigerating company in Khreibet Al Souq.
Gas leaked from a container that was holding around 1,000 litres of ammonia as a result of a technical fault in one of the container’s pipelines.
A man suffered breathing difficulties as a result of the incident and was rushed to Jamil Tutanji Hospital in Sahab. The man’s condition was described as fair.
