Safadi offers condolences over passing of Erekat

AMMAN — Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi on Tuesday offered his condolences over the passing of Secretary General of the Executive Committee of the Palestine Liberation Organisation Saeb Erekat.

In a tweet on his account, Safadi said: “I received with great sorrow sad news of the passing of dear friend Saeb Erekat. Saeb dedicated his life to his people, their right to freedom, dignity, statehood.

My thoughts, prayers with his family, Um Ali, Ali, Mohammad, Dalal, Salam. Deepest condolences. God bless his soul.”
