AMMAN — Lower House Speaker Atef Tarawneh on Wednesday met with US Ambassador to Jordan Stuart E. Jones to discuss bilateral ties and means to develop them, especially at the economic and parliamentary levels.
During the meeting, held to mark the end of the diplomat’s term in Amman, Tarawneh underlined the need to envision a comprehensive and just solution to the Palestinian issue, noting that failing to do so would result in more violence and extremism.
