Tawalbeh meets with ex-servicemen

AMMAN — Gendarmerie Department Director Lt. Gen. Tawfiq Tawalbeh on Saturday highlighted the role of retired military personnel and the need to maintain contact with them to benefit from their expertise.
During a meeting with members of Al Balqa Society of Retired Servicemen, headed by retired Maj. Gen. Mohammad Rasoul Al Amayreh, Tawalbeh noted that retired military personnel continue to be a main supporter of and strong partner for all military and security bodies.
His Majesty King Abdullah on Wednesday met with ex-servicemen to discuss key issues in both a domestic and regional context, a source close to the meeting told The Jordan Times.
