Tenders floated for various projects in Petra

AMMAN — The Petra Development and Tourism Region Authority (PDTRA) recently floated tenders for investment projects in Petra city worth JD100 million, PDTRA President Mohammad Nawafleh said on Wednesday.
The proposed projects include the “Petra cable car” scheme, a convention centre with a four- or five-star hotel, a horse-riding field and the “wonder-park” project, Nawafleh told the Jordan News Agency, Petra.
He noted that PDTRA announced the investment opportunities in daily newspapers and other media outlets for interested investors to have a firsthand look at investments in Petra, 235km south of Amman.
