Three public libraries to be established in Tafileh

AMMAN — The South-North Centre for Dialogue and Development on Thursday launched an initiative to establish three public libraries in Tafileh Governorate, with each containing no less than 10,000 books.
The initiative, to be implemented in cooperation with the Jordan Library and Information Association, was launched in celebration of announcing Tafileh as the 2014 Jordanian city of culture.
Meanwhile, the Jordanian Publishers Union announced the donation of 100 books by each publishing house for the libraries, which will be in the towns of Tafileh, Aimeh and Bseira.
