Three school students diagnosed with hepatitis A

AMMAN — Three public school students in the Southern Mazar District have been diagnosed with hepatitis A, according to the Karak Health Directorate.
Southern Mazar Education Director Odallah Btoush said two brothers at Shqeira Elementary School were diagnosed with the virus and infected a third student.
The three were given a two-week sick leave, Btoush added.
The Karak health directorate formed a medical team to monitor the situation in case of any new infections.
