Tourism minister meets sector leaders in Maan

AMMAN — Tourism Minister Lina Annab on Thursday met with representatives of the tourism sector and the local community in Maan, 220km south of Amman, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
The meeting, as part of the sustainable tourism project funded by USAID, was aimed at discussing the preparation of the national tourism strategy for the next five years.
Talks covered means to improve the tourism sector and actively engage the private sector and the local community.
